The mission of Tutoring America is to help close the education gap that prevents many low-income youth from achieving their full potential as students and therefore puts them at a significant disadvantage once they join the workforce as adults. This significantly perpetuates the wage gap and cycle of poverty in the US and globally.

Our work aims to get these young students up to speed before they reach high school by integrating highly effective supplementary tutoring programs such as SuccessMaker into existing school curriculums, schedules, and communities.

We believe that closing the education gap between low- and high-income students is the key to addressing poverty in the US and globally. Evidence shows that tutoring works to close this gap.
